Customers that have a ReleasePay Card before using their card will need to activate the card online at the ReleasePay activation website.  At the site there is an activation page that cardholders will need to complete before they’re able to use their card.  

Card activation can be done from the website or by calling a toll free number.

How to Activate Your Release Pay Card Online

• Visit www.releasepay.com/activate card

Enter the following details:

• Card number
• Card expiration month
• Year
• PIN
• New PIN
• Click the Submit button

ReleasePay Register Card Help

Cardholders using the website for the very first time will need to go through the registration process.  Here’s steps to guide you from start to finish:

• Visit releasepay.com activate card
• Click the Register Card link

Enter the following info:

• Last name
• Date of birth
• 16 digit card number
• Card expiration date
• Email address
• Click the certify box
• Select your notification preference
• Click the blue Submit button
