NEW YORK (AP) – The Grammys are in love with Beyoncé and Taylor Swift: The two singers made history on the 2021 show.

Swift, 31, became the first woman to win album of the year three times.

“We just want to thank the fans,” said Swift, who won the grand prize with “Folklore”.

Swift previously won album of the year with her albums “Fearless” and “1989”.

Beyoncé made history by surpassing Alison Krauss to become the most decorated female plot in Grammy history.

Beyoncé received her 28th Grammy on Sunday and received awards such as best R&B performance for “Black Parade”, best music video for “Brown Skin Girl” and best rap performance and best rap song for “Savage” with Megan Thee Stallion.

“As an artist, I believe that it is my job, and all of our jobs, to reflect on the time and it was such a difficult time,” said Beyoncé on stage when she performed the best R&B performance for “Black Parade” which was released on June 19th.

She went on to create the song to honor the “beautiful black kings and queens” of the world.

She added, “I’ve worked all my life … This is a magical night.”

Beyoncé is now linked up with producer and multi-instrumentalist Quincy Jones for the second most Grammy title. The late conductor Georg Solti is the most awarded Grammy winner with 31 victories.

The musical royal family won all honors on Sunday: Jay-Z shared the best rap song win since co-writing Savage, and nine-year-old Blue Ivy Carter, who won best music video alongside her mother, became the second youngest Leah Peasall was 8 years old when The Peasall Sisters won Album of the Year on the 2002 show for their appearance on T Bone Burnett’s “O Brother, Where Art Thou?” Soundtrack.

NEW YORK (AP) – Taylor Swift, BTS, Cardi B and Billie Eilish will be performing at the Grammy Awards next week.

The Recording Academy announced on Sunday that Harry Styles, Bad Bunny, Post Malone, Megan Thee Stallion and Dua Lipa will also take to the stage at the March 14 event. The show will be broadcast live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on CBS and Paramount +.

The Grammys were originally scheduled to take place on January 31st but have been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. The academy said in a statement that “artists will come together while they are still safely separated to play music for one another as a community and celebrate the music that unites us all”.

Trevor Noah is hosting the show for the first time. Other actors are Chris Martin, John Mayer, Doja Cat, Maren Morris, DaBaby, HAIM, Lil Baby, Brandi Carlile, Roddy Ricch, Bretagne Howard, Miranda Lambert, Mickey Guyton and Black Pumas.

Beyoncé leads the way with nine nominations, followed by Swift, Lipa and Ricch, who each received six nominations.

Taylor Swift will not reschedule postponed ‘Lover Fest’ exhibits | Leisure

Taylor Swift will not postpone “Lover Fest” shows that have been canceled due to cancellation Coronavirus pandemic.

The star increased social media on Friday to announce the move that will affect shows postponed from 2020 to 2021.

“I’m so sorry, but I can’t postpone the shows that we have postponed,” she wrote on Friday. “Although refunds have been available since we first postponed the Lover Fest shows, many of you held onto your tickets, and I, too, held onto the idea that we could reschedule.”

Swift joins other artists who have canceled or postponed tour dates, such as Justin Bieber, Niall Horan and Bad Bunny.

Taylor said in her statement that she was disappointed to have to cancel.

“This is an unprecedented pandemic that has changed all plans and no one knows what the touring landscape will be like in the near future,” she wrote. “… I miss you terribly and I can’t wait until we can all be safe together at shows again.”

Although Swift couldn’t see fans live, she surprised fans earlier this month by announcing that she would be releasing a remake of one of her first albums, Fearless 9th April.

She has already released Folklore and Evermore, two newly recorded albums both of which came out during the pandemic.

Despite the cancellation of their postponed “Lover Fest” shows, Swift has received six Grammy nominations, with the potential to win Album of the Year 2021.
