On Saturday evening, March 6, 2021, the UFC is presenting three title bouts for the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship, the UFC Featherweight Championship for Women and the UFC Featherweight Championship on the main map. The UFC 259 The PPV event will air from the Apex Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Back to the octagon for this main event, we have reigning UFC light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz with a remarkable 27-8 record after nearly six months on hiatus from UFC action to try to win his title against reigning UFC middleweight champion defend, ‘The Last Stylebender’ Israel Adesanya – arguably one of the best strikers in all of MMA – takes on his impressive, unbeaten 20-0 record.

In the co-main event we have the highly predictable UFC Featherweight Championship for women between ‘The Lioness’, Amanda Nunes, who comes in fourth with a strong record of 20-4 against Megan Anderson in the octagon. 4 record. Nunes is a big favorite in this fight so it is very likely that Anderson will take a heavy blow down here. Nunes is the first woman to become a two-division UFC champion, after Conor McGregor and Daniel Cormier, and the third female fighter in UFC history to hold two-weight titles at the same time. She is also the first and only female fighter in UFC history to defend two titles while keeping them active. Nunes is widely considered to be the greatest female MMA fighter of all time.

Our third title bout of the event is for the UFC bantamweight championship between reigning champion Petr Yan and top contender, Aljamain ‘Funk Master’ Sterling. Our people here at BE tend primarily to win Yan by decision here, but we do Got a few holdouts for Sterling to get the title from Yan …

Also on the menu is an exciting light heavyweight fight between battle veteran ‘Maretta’ (The Sledgehammer) Thiago Santos, whose 21-8 career record was held with a 13-1 win against the up-and-coming Aleksandar Rakić. 2 record (with only one loss since October 2011). Rakić made his UFC debut a little over three years ago and is a rising star currently ranked 5th, behind Santos, who is ranked 4th after eight years of UFC performance.

These fights are preceded by a fully packed sub-map with ten fights. What a wild night of fighting we have to share with you!
