New leisure middle debuts on Minot Air Drive Base

MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, ND – Minot Air Force Base opened a new social center for people aged 18 and over.

Minot aviator Ryan Guevara Seamster said he usually only comes to work but spends more time in the center.

“I love PC games, and I’ve heard there’s a new VR going on here, so I’m really excited to try this out,” said Seamster. It includes a range of game computers, consoles, a theater, and board game tables.

“A place where airmen can come together and build community, because today that’s effectively the new culture. The culture here is often based on video games, board games and movies, ”said Everett Dotson, manager.

The center was built with the support of new airmen to create a place where a younger generation can relax and have fun. “I think this is a great opportunity for the young aviators coming to Minot. Give them the opportunity to meet and make new friends, ”said Seamster.

The escape cost approximately $ 250,000.

Management hopes to turn the center into an esports center for the Air Force.
