Kate Hina Sabatine Is Bringing Comedic Queer Content material—and Model—to TikTok

On Kate Hina Sabatines Tiktok page, you’ll often find the 25-year-old content creator morphing into Donkey Kong for her signature comedic lesbian parenting skits. “DK,” as they call the character, is a fictional wealthy lesbian parent of two, um, precocious children, Ramona and Cornelius. “Ramona hates getting compliments from straight people,” they will say. Or, “My 6-year-old Cornelius knows everything about the stock market.” (In our books, Donkey Kong is the coolest parent ever.)

Sabatine now has over 1.4 million followers for her comedic queer content. They started the account to normalize the app’s representation of queers — something they didn’t always have during their own upbringing. “As a kid, I never saw queer people on TV doing normal things (like having a family life). I’ve never seen an Asian non-binary lesbian on TV or in a movie,” says Sabatine. “If I’ve ever seen lesbian portrayals, it’s always been framed in this tragic, serious, or dramatic way. Creating the content I create has healed me a lot and it makes my inner child so happy.”

TikTok content

This content can also be displayed on the website originates from.

But while their skits are hilarious, that’s not all they create on the app. They evaluate zodiac signs as sophisticated cocktailsstyle “male + femaleoutfits (her style is crazy good, by the way) and even suggest Gay outfit ideas for your gay date (we love the bookstore date look, complete with blazer and buttoned vest). “I would say my style is unspoken, eclectic and fabulous,” Sabatine says of her wardrobe. “I love dressing up every day, even if I’m not going anywhere.”

Below, Sabatine talks TikTok inspiration, what’s in her closet, and which video has been filming the longest.

What drew you to create on TikTok?

I used to work for a music artist and was trying to convince him to start a TikTok. Back then, it was the era on TikTok where artists exploded almost daily. They said, “Oh, I don’t know, blah blah blah,” so I made a deal with them: If I explode on TikTok in a month, you have to start promoting your music on TikTok. The idea was like, “Anyone can do it,” and it turned out, yes, anyone could do it. I went viral in 2 weeks. Then I just fell in love with creating content! After about 4 months I quit my job to focus on content creation full time and have no regrets.

How Kate Middleton has solidified royal fashion with ‘nothing however grace and magnificence’

As a member of the royal family, is always in the royal spotlight and every inch of her outfits is examined in detail. Express.co.uk spoke to Miranda Holder, TV & Celebrity Fashion Expert, about Kate’s iconic style over the past decade.

Royal fans loved it when Prince William announced his engagement to Kate Middleton in 2010 and the couple married in a fairytale royal wedding the following year.

In the years since then, Kate has worked to establish her royal role and juggle life as the busy mother of three.

Miranda Holder, TV & Celebrity Fashion Expert, said, “The nation adores Kate Middleton and it has been a pleasure to see how she has grown from a shy young lady over the years to the absolute style icon she is today.

Navigating motherhood and becoming a woman is hard enough for the rest of us, but just doing it in public is far from easy.

“Kate did this with nothing but grace and elegance as she slowly unfolded her fashion wings and developed the style for which she is much admired today.”

Kate’s style has seen several changes over the past 10 years, and the future Duchess’s earlier years in the royal limelight showed enormous fashion potential.

Kate’s fashion attracted a lot of interest before she got engaged to Prince William as she was often photographed in the noughties.

And the iconic navy wrap dress she wore to announce her engagement in 2010 sold out in a flash.

Ms. Holder said, “Kate has always been stylish and looked reserved in the earlier years wearing classic looks like immaculately tailored two-piece skirt suits and shift dresses that were very reminiscent of Princess Diana in her early years.

“Her fashion choices have been tasteful and modest, and she is reasonably reluctant to take risks that avoid the dreaded fashion faux pas, while also being very guided by royal protocols and guidelines.”

But when Kate was encouraged by her role in the royal family, she became more confident about her fashion choices.

Ms. Holder added: “Over time, however, Kate has settled into her role as Duchess of Cambridge and has slowly become familiar with her personality, which is very much reflected in her style choices.

How Kate Middleton’s royal style evolved [PICTURES]

“She embodies femininity and grace, but is much more confident – all of which helped develop a signature ‘Kate look’.

“Kate has long been a master of the British high street and her sold-out, block-colored midi outfits by the likes of Reiss have become her trademark.”

For royal engagements, Kate usually wears a chic, tailored suit jacket or one of her favorite classic dresses.

Kate is known to dabble in sleek ponytails and intricate updos for more formal events, but it’s the bouncy blowouts that Kate’s hair is famous for.

Likewise, Kate has made her mark on royal fashion when it comes to red carpet appearances or formal dinners.

The Duchess is known for exuding Hollywood glamor with some of her high-profile outfit selections in recent years.

Ms. Holder stated, “In the past few years we’ve seen the Duchess come out in more dramatic silhouettes, more vibrant colors and eye-catching looks, from contemporary leading designers like The Vampire’s Wife to the stunning gold floor-length Jenny Packham gown she wore to the last Bond -Premiere.

“All of this took confidence to carry her away, and Kate did it with admirable intuition.”

Kate Middleton emulates Princess Diana’s iconic type with outfit and accent selections

Kate Middleton is a fashion icon herself. In fact, social media and glossy magazine pages are constantly littered with the Duchess of Cambridge’s impressive looks. However, she takes inspiration from the fashionable Princess Diana.

36 years before Kate, in 1985, the late princess wore an equally regal, silver floor-length dress.

Both looked like dashing Bond girls in their fitted dresses with V-necklines and distinctive shoulder marks.

Many believe that Kate was directly emulating Diana who would have been her mother-in-law.

“Kate admired Diana’s taste in fashion before William entered her life,” a source told US magazine.

“During her school days, she used to tell friends that Diana was her style icon.”

This wasn’t the first time Kate had nodded to Diana.

Only on one of many occasions did Kate look eerily like the princess.

In June 1990, the Princess of Wales stunned in a shocking pink coat.

Kate was seen in an almost matching ensemble in March 2015.

She even based her accessories on Diana, wearing short black heels and a black clutch.

The only difference was that Diana paired her jacket with a skirt, while Kate rocked a one-piece on that occasion.

Most recently, on Remembrance Day, Kate channeled Diana in a wide-brimmed black hat.

In 1992 Diana wore a similar oversized black hat for the same occasion.

Amanda Wakeley, the woman who designed Diana’s power suits, said, “I think when you’re headed for a tricky moment, it’s very comforting to slip into something that feels great.”

She added that Diana sent messages “very powerfully” through her clothing.

It appears that Kate is following in Diana’s footsteps and assuming more royal responsibilities as the future queen.

Kingston Trio will entertain audiences in royal type at The Kate

ALTER SAYBROOK – Are you interested in nostalgia? Do you like to remember unforgettable musical moments from the past and relive their splendor? If your answers are yes, then I have a treat for you.

Sixty years ago, this group was described as “the most envied, most imitated, and most successful vocal group, folk or otherwise, in all of show business.” They have also been referred to as “the undisputed kings of popular song rage by all standards” and triggered the pop-folk boom with their hit recording of “Tom Dooley”.

This song became a # 1 hit and sold over 3 million copies as a single.

This dynamic group released 19 albums that made it into the Billboard Top 100, 14 in the Top 10, and five that landed at # 1 at Kate in Old Saybrook in two concerts, Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m.

Over the years a number of performing individuals and groups have attributed the transformation of the music world to the Kingston Trio, including Woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger, Joan Baez, Bob Dylan, Paul Simon and Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles, The Beach Boys and The Bee Gees , to name just a few.

Whether it’s protest songs, calypso numbers or Broadway tunes, the Kingston Trio is sure to be entertained in royal style.

The original members in 1957 were Dave Guard, Bob Shane, and Nick Reynolds, three classmates in California.

The current members, Mike Marvin, Tim Gorelangston and Don Marovich, have ties to the original three. Mike is the adopted son of founding member Nick Reynolds and credits Nick as his musical mentor. Tim has been a close friend since childhood and recorded with Nick Reynolds. Don has performed with the trio and plays guitar, banjo and mandolin.

In their signature striped shirts you can hear classics like “Tom Dooley”, “Where Have All the Flowers Gone?” “Greenback Dollar”, “A Worried Man”, “Raspberries Strawberries”, “Hard, Ain’t It Hard”, “They Call the Wind Maria”, “This Land Is Your Land”, “This Little Light of Mine” and “Desert pete.”

‘Basic’ Kate Middleton channelling Princess Diana’s ‘fairy-tale’ type – ‘a disgrace’

Kate Middleton channeled Princess Diana’s style several times until she donned almost identical outfits to her Diana’s. Princess of Wales, already worn once. But is the Duchess of Cambridge trying to deliberately emulate her style?

Fashion designer Melita Latham told Express.co.uk that the two styles are completely different and that while “anyone can recreate Kate’s ensemble,” Princess Diana’s “presence” is impossible to imitate.

Melita said Diana “certainly had a style of her own. From her first unexpected appearance in the spotlight, she had a particular style that shone almost as much as her beauty. “

“She could have come to any engagement in an old sack and would have put those present in awe.

“Wearing khaki pants and a white blouse (and armor to protect them) while inspecting minefields is a moment few will forget, but just as few would be able to make a similar impression,” explained the fashion expert.

“Seldom does this beauty, charm, presence and style come into their own as perfectly as with Diana.

“A truly groundbreaking personality in terms of what she achieved as a princess and mother, but also in her death, modernized (almost destroyed) the royal family almost overnight all by herself.

“Quite remarkable,” she concluded.

Commenting on Kate’s style, Melita commented: “Kate is a classically beautiful woman, a loving mother and an admirable member of the royal family. Her flair for clothing is classic and suits all occasions, which is obviously aided by her remarkable figure and beauty.

“If Kate had made such an impression in the white blouse, I seriously doubt,” said the fashion expert.

“Of course Kate is everything a princess is, and one day it should be a queen, there can be no doubt about that.

“Our first really beautiful princess (how princesses are supposed to be in fairy tales) was Diana. She was the model T.

“Of course, 40 years later, Kate is no less a princess, and anyone can recreate her ensemble in today’s fashion market,” she explained.

“If you can imagine them together as people of the same age today, it is difficult to choose what is more beautiful. However, it is not at all difficult to see what is most present at the moment, ”said Melita.

But is Kate trying to restore that “presence”?

The fashion designer doesn’t think it’s even possible to recreate Diana’s essence.

“I doubt Kate is trying to emulate Diana, if so it would be a shame.

“She has a style of her own that is clearly influenced by her own family. It simply cannot compensate for the “first”, the “prototype” effect.

“If you saw an automobile for the first time in a country of horse-drawn carriages, you will remember that moment.

“In today’s world of cars, however, you have to remember which is which.

“In today’s celebrity-hungry media society, there are a lot of princesses, royal or not, and I’m afraid that’s where Kate lives,” concluded Melita.

Kate Middleton’s parenting fashion ‘immaculate’ whereas Pippa ‘extra sensible’

Kate Middleton and Prince William are the parents of three young children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. Meanwhile, Kate’s younger sister Pippa Middleton has two children, Arthur and Grace.

On the rare occasions when she is seen with her three children, the Duchess of Cambridge appears to be a warm and loving mother.

However, their approach depends on keeping all eyes on them – and on their parenting style.

Sister Pippa can enjoy a more “down to earth” life, far from criticism and public scrutiny.

According to body language expert Judi James, the parenting style of Kate and Pippa is completely different, as the latter has the privilege of leading a semi-normal family life.

The Duchess of Cambridge will never show that, at least not in public.

Judi explained, “There seems to be a world of difference between Kate and Pippa when it comes to their parenting poses.

“Pippa appears to have inherited Middleton’s talent for looking serene calm and beautiful, despite the fact that she is laden with a small child walking beside her clutching the stroller; a baby in the stroller and a whole load of luggage on the stroller.

“The sign here is that this is also your very own balancing act.”

Judi stated that Kate could “envy” Pippa’s way of raising her children and her more “practical” parenting style.

“While Kate, as the future queen and mother of a future king, is the consummate professional when it comes to showcasing the perfect, flawless moments for the royal family, it is easy to suspect that she might actually envy Pippa for her ability to walk in comfort Running out of sneakers, Macs and sunglasses, “she said.

Like her sister, Pippa Middleton leads a very privileged life, which also includes 24-hour help with the upbringing of her children.

However, you can usually see her in her neighborhood in Notting Hill, London, where she walks with her children like any other mother. Something Kate will never be able to do.

Although Pippa and the children were sometimes accompanied by a nanny, she was sometimes seen “pushing luggage and children as many other parents have to do every day of their lives,” Judi explained.

In comparison: “Kate’s elegant appearance suggests the swan in the water comparison; looks calm and beautiful on the surface while furiously paddling away underneath to achieve this effect.

“Her royal role shows that she is leading two, or possibly three, young children dressed in heels and stylish outfits that are not kid-friendly.”

Judi continued, “Even so, she seems intent on being a face-to-face mother who bows down to the size of her children when speaking to them and even half kneels to give them her full attention and focus on their feelings and emotions.

“With the children who are shown so publicly, in addition to the normal royal requirements, she has to create a tactile, first-hand approach that is fun but does not have tantrums.”

Judi stated that Kate “uses rituals of touch and eye contact or face observation as her tie signs and this can be a constant form of non-verbal reassurance, control and communication that will help her adjust to her children when they appear on the show publicly.

“For Pippa, the bond looks a lot more relaxed.

“When she looks down on her young child with pride, she has fewer eyes on herself and less public scrutiny, which allows for a more practical approach, with her hair tied back and an affectionate smile on her face.”
