Barack Obama says there are things he “can’t tell” people about extraterrestrials.
The former US president has indicated that he knows about extraterrestrial life but cannot provide any information to the public.
During an appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden, Obama said, “When it comes to aliens, there are some things I just can’t tell you on-air.”
The 59-year-old politician announced that he had asked if there was a secret laboratory that he ought to know was hiding someone else’s information when he entered the White House in 2009.
Obama stated, “When I came into office, I asked, is there a laboratory somewhere where we keep the alien specimens and the spaceship?
“You did a little research and the answer is no, but what is true, and I’m really serious here, there is footage and recordings of objects in the sky that we don’t know exactly what they are.
“We can’t explain how they moved, their trajectory. They didn’t have an easy-to-explain pattern.”
Obama added that investigations are in progress on these sightings but there is “nothing to report” at the moment.
He also revealed that he was surprised by the positive response from the public after the family announced the death of their dog Bo earlier this month.
Obama said, “As you can imagine, the comment areas on our social media accounts are sometimes less than friendly.
“You might get trolling on occasion like, ‘Obama, you’re a bum. And you’re the worst president ever,’ and so on and so forth. Those were the only posts that everyone posted something nice on.”
