‘Fauda’ Helmer Rotem Shamir To Direct Savior For Oakhurst Leisure – Deadline

EXCLUSIVE: Israeli filmmaker Red Shamir is to direct Savior, an action thriller script by Todd Komarnicki This is funded by Oakhurst Entertainment and Capstone Group. Shamir directed the second season of the acclaimed Israeli spy series and co-creator and writer of the Indian television series Hostages for Disney + Hotstar. He is also co-creator and director of the Israeli drama Line In The Sand and most recently directed the 8-part thriller Diamonds with Netflix and Belgium’s VRT. Now he goes into features.

The Savior focuses on Vincent Will, a cold-blooded murderer and mercenary who works for a secret organization called the Twelve Disciples. Your master plan is to start a world war through a series of individual acts of terrorism. None of the mercenaries know anything other than their own mission. Komarnicki’s credits include Sully and The Professor and the Madman.

Oakhurst Entertainment’s Jai Khanna and Marina Grasic along with financing with Christian MercuriThe Capstone Group and the casting will begin immediately. Khanna and Grasic will produce with Terry Botwick and Komarnicki from Papatime under his label Guy Walks Into a Bar. Ruzanna Kegeyan of the Capstone Group and Geyer Kosinski will be executive producers.
