Digital music present to lift cash for fallen Davis police officer – Every day Democrat

The Davis Odd Fellows will virtually host the 3rd annual Music for Natalie event this year.

The virtual show with local musicians will raise funds for the Officer Natalie Corona Odd Fellows Memorial Scholarship and will take place on March 20th.

Tickets to the show are $ 25 and include a dinner and meal from Foodies Catering. The pick-up dinner offers starters with dry-grated ribs or portobello mushrooms, as well as side dishes with baked beans and green salad.

Tickets can be purchased online from the Davis Odd Fellows website at davislodge.org. The website also accepts donations.

The Davis Odd Fellows launched the Natalie Corona Odd Fellows Memorial Fellowship for civil servants in 2019 after Corona, a Davis police officer, died that year.

“Officer Corona is known for her dedication to law enforcement, her community service, hard work and spirit of collaboration that inspires her colleagues and the community,” said a statement from Davis Odd Fellows.

The scholarship is awarded to students from Davis and Arbuckle, Corona’s hometown, who are working toward careers in law enforcement or criminal justice.

An endowment fund was set up to finance the scholarship annually. With the support of the community, the Odd Fellows are building a fund so that the scholarship program can continue.
