PUTNEY, Vt. (WCAX) – Next Stage Arts in Putney brings the Bandwagon series back for the second time.
They say they have now perfected the art of the socially distant outdoor summer series.
The acts range from music, dance, circus, theater to puppet shows – all local or regional.
The idea is for people to follow the train – a tiny house converted into a mobile sound stage for traveling around Windham County.
“It’s a unique opportunity. We are locked in our homes all winter with COVID and this is a safe, socially detached way to enjoy live music and entertainment, ”said Keith Marks, Executive Director of Next Stage Arts. “We’ll have concessions, sponsor Barr Hill and Oak Meadow, so we’ll have food and drink and a fun way for families to get together. Children under 12 have free access to all experiences and it will be a good time for people to come out and enjoy the Vermont summer. “
The world premiere is scheduled for May 1, 2021.
They’ll be running in locations across Windham County through mid-October.
