SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio police are looking for a man who fired on the south side of the city late Sunday evening.
Officers were called to the 1200 block on Pleasanton Road near East Southcross and South Flores Streets at around 8:30 p.m. after receiving news of a wounded person.
Police said two men were working together when they got into a heated argument over money debt.
Police said the 28-year-old suspect pulled a gun and shot the 25-year-old victim twice in the back shortly before he escaped.
The victim has been taken to Brooke Army Medical Center in stable condition, where she is expected to recover.
SAPD said they did not have a description of the suspect’s vehicle but said they did know the shooter’s identity. He wasn’t found.
The investigation into the shootings is ongoing, the police said.
