Priyanka Chopra has admitted that being back at work is “scary and crazy”.

The 38-year-old star, who is married to Nick Jonas, has filmed a lot in the UK, and although many safety measures have been in place due to the coronavirus pandemic, the actress admitted that it still feels risky to work at the moment.

Talk to OK! In the magazine she said, “Although all security measures are in place, it is scary.

“We are tested every day and everyone has masks.

“Everyone keeps their distance from the actors, mainly because we take our masks off to do the scenes.

“We’re very vulnerable, so it’s scary and crazy, but I’m also grateful that I can go back to work. I am grateful that I am actually working. “

Despite her recent success in Hollywood, Priyanka admitted that she would like to return to making films in India if she can add them to her busy schedule.

She said, “I would love to be able to work in India and I’ve read a few things that I would really like to do next year.

“I hope I can add that to my schedule, but it’s a bit like playing ‘Tetris’ right now.”

The former “Quantico” star was delighted to play and executive produce “The White Tiger” for Netflix because of her desire to bring South Asian stories to a wider audience.

She said, “You can take me out of India, but you cannot take India out of me. I am still the girl.

“It is my greatest pleasure and privilege to be able to publish South Asian stories – which are not as well represented in global entertainment as they should be – on a global platform like Netflix. South Asians make up one fifth of the world’s population, but you don’t see many movies with a South Asian cast or story. So it was a pleasure to shoot in my home country. “
